City Tour in Addis Ababa

The City Tour begins from Entoto Park, in Addis Ababa. Nestled in the middle of the forest, Entoto Park is set in an environment of tranquility and harmony with nature itself. Mount Entoto is the highest peak in Addis Ababa, It reaches 3,200 meters above sea level.

Entoto Park carbon-free unspoiled place; best for sport and recreational activities including #walking, #Hiking, #Car racing, #Horse riding, #Yoga, #Meditation, #jogging, #running, #biking and so many different sports activities are available.

Then drive to the National Museum. It houses numerous antiquarian relics and archaeological artifacts (the most famous exhibit is the 3.5 million-year-old skeleton of Lucy) and also the 2019 Nobel Prize Certificate of Prime Minister Dr. Abiy Ahmed.

Our next visit will be to the newly opened Unity Park at the Grand Palace. Here you can see the Old Palaces and banquets of Emperor Menelik, Aquarium, Black Lion Zoo, Mini-Exhibition, beautiful flower garden, etc.

Our Final visit will be Trinity Cathedral. It was constructed by Emperor Haile Selassie in 1947 ornamented with carvings and mosaic and other artistic works such as paintings of saints and the apostles on the stained glass.

• The tour starts at 8:00am and ends at around 4:30pm
• Duration: 1 full day (optionnaly we can reduce to half day by excluding some activities)
• Meeting point is at the Addis Ababa Airport Parking, or from your hotel lobby area.
• Ethiopia entry requirement in relation to covid-19 effective 23 September 2020: All passengers traveling to Ethiopia MUST present a negative RT PCR test certificate for COVID-19 before boarding a flight. The certificate validity shouldn’t exceed 120 hours on arrival from the date sample is given. Children less than or equal to 12 years of age are exempted from the RT PCR test certificate requirement. There shall be no COVID-19 test to be done on arrival at Addis Ababa. A Rapid diagnostic test (RDT antibody test) will not be accepted for this purpose. The above requirement does not apply to transit passengers. “Always travel by wearing your face mask”.
